BIOGRAPHIE
Né à Marseille, Amara Tir est initié, très jeune, au monde musical par un disciple de Marcel Dupré et Nadia Boulanger,
le célèbre organiste français Marcel Prêvot, qui lui dispense les premiers rudiments de l'art musical.
Il poursuit ses études musicales au conservatoire de Marseille où il étudie avec le violoniste Jean Ter Merguerian, rencontre déterminante pour son avenir musical.
Médaille d'or et divers prix obtenus, il fait le choix de continuer à se perfectionner, plusieurs années, avec ce grand maitre.

Tout en entamant, déjà, sa carrière de concertiste.
Diverses master-classes et rencontres, Zino Francescatti,
Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Pierre Amoyal, Ivry Gitlis, Irina Botchkova, Evguenia Tchougaeva …..
On peut considérer Amara Tir comme un héritier de la grande tradition du violon russe, son maître ayant été, lui-même,
le disciple de David Oistrakh.
Amara Tir a donné de nombreux récitals et s'est régulièrement produit comme soliste, tant en France qu'à l'étranger.
Il forme, plusieurs années, un duo très remarqué avec le pianiste Michel Oudar, artiste d'exception disparu en 1993.
En 2002, il est le soliste du premier concert, à l'étranger,
de l'orchestre national d'Algérie.
La même année, il partage l'affiche avec la légendaire cantatrice Montserrat Caballé, obtenant un très grand succès, aussi bien du public que de la diva qui a tenu à reconnaître publiquement son talent.

De grandes personnalités du monde musical ont remarqué et encouragé le talent d'Amara Tir, parmi lesquelles, Pierre Barbizet, Zino Francescatti, Ivry Gitlis, Montserrat Caballé....
En octobre 2022, en compagnie du pianiste Ludovic Selmi, partenaire de longue date, il a remporté un grand succès, donnant un récital au festival international de Maastricht, concert retransmis par la radio néerlandaise L1.
Presse et public ont, très régulièrement, loué une technique irréprochable, un jeu d'archet fin et coloré, héritage bien particulier de son maître, ainsi que son tempérament de concertiste, sa grande sensibilité et élégance.

Born in Marseille, Amara Tir was introduced to the world of music at a very young age by a disciple of Marcel Dupré and Nadia Boulanger, the famous French organist Marcel Prêvot, who taught him the first rudiments of the musical art.
He continued his musical studies at the conservatory of Marseille where he studied with the violinist Jean Ter Merguerian,
a decisive encounter for his musical future.
Gold medal and various prizes obtained, he chose to continue
to perfect himself, several years, with this great master.
While beginning, already, his career of concert performer.

Amara Tir can be considered as an heir of the great tradition
of Russian violin, his master having been, himself, the disciple
of David Oistrakh.
Amara Tir has given numerous recitals and has regularly performed as a soloist, both in France and abroad.
For several years, he formed a duo with the pianist Michel Oudar, an exceptional artist who died in 1993.
In 2002, he was the soloist of the first concert of the National Orchestra of Algeria.
The same year, he shared the stage with the legendary singer Montserrat Caballé, obtaining a great success, as much from
the public as from the diva, who was very moved and wanted
to publicly recognize his talent.

In October 2022, together with the pianist Ludovic Selmi,
a long-time partner, he had a great success, giving a recital
at the international festival of Maastricht, a concert broadcasted by the Dutch radio L1 .
